Brampton cyclist struck, killed in morning crash

A 52-year-old Brampton cyclist is dead Thursday and Peel police are asking witnesses to help them find out what happened.
The collision, involving two vehicles, took place at 7 a.m. along Dixie Rd., south of Mayfield Rd. in Brampton.
The cyclist, identified by police as George Carswell, was struck by one vehicle, then another.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the collision, have video footage of the incident, or have information regarding the actions of the cyclist or drivers prior to the collision.
