He snatched her purse in Port Credit, causing the 65-year-old woman to tumble, then fled in a black pickup.
Peel police say a senior was robbed outside of Loblaws last Sunday at 10:50 a.m. at Lakeshore Rd. and Mississauga Rd.
The victim was walking in the Credit Landing plaza when the man grabbed her and took her purse.
Witnesses tried smashing the driver’s side of the window while attempting to apprehend the man.
The suspect took off in an unknown direction on Lakeshore Rd.
The victim suffered minor injuries.
The suspect is described as white, in his 30s, standing 5-foot-9 with a medium build and brown hair.
He was dressed in dark clothing and had a dark military-style hat.
