A 48-year-old Brampton woman has died after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a car wash.
“There are no charges at this time,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Bally Saini.
Emergency crews responded to a call at 8:33 p.m. Monday at Airport Rd. and Williams Pkwy., where paramedics treated the woman before taking her to a local hospital.
The woman’s condition deteriorated and she was rushed to a trauma unit, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and he is cooperating with police.
The major collision bureau is investigating.
