UPDATED: Man shot near Sauga strip club drives himself to police station

A man shot near a Mississauga strip club ferried himself to 12 Division and is now recovering in hospital.

The incident took place just before midnight Monday at Matheson Blvd. E. and Satellite Dr.,where shots were fired near the New Locomotion adult entertainment establishment.

Police dogs and the tactical unit responded to the scene, where suspects fled from Matheson in a light four-door BMW.

The area is sandwiched between Hwy. 401 to the north, and Eglinton Ave. W.to the south.

The victim was driving his car when a suspect shot him. The victim then drove 3 kms to the police station at Dixie Rd. and Eglinton, where paramedics treated him before going to hospital.

The man’s injuries are non-life threatening, said Peel Regional Police Const. Bally Saini, and he was the only person who reported being harmed.
Detectives from the criminal investigation bureau are working on the case.

The first suspect is a black man, standing five-foot-eight with a slim build, last seen wearing a dark jacket, baseball hat and dark jeans. He is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, do not approach, and call police immediately.

The second suspect is described a white man in the five-foot-six to five-foot-seven range. The man has a slim build and was wearing a large fur vest, dark clothing and a baseball hat.
