A Brampton man has been re-arrested and charged in connection with the death of his toddler daughter.
Frank Brian O’Dea, 42, is now accused of manslaughter and failing to provide necessities of life after a report released Monday by the Centre of Forensic Sciences determined malnutrition and dehydration killed Victoria O’Dea.
The man was first arrested last April and charged with criminal negligence causing death.
Peel Police responded to a call on April 20 at 11:25 p.m. for an unresponsive child in a home on Pappain Cres. in Brampton.
The victim was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
O’Dea was arrested Wednesday and appeared in Brampton court today for a bail hearing.
