Toronto man charged in Peel prostitution case

A Toronto man has been arrested and charged with prostitution-related offences following an investigation by the major drugs and vice unit.

Peel Police arrested the suspect Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Ridelle Ave. and Times Rd. area, south of Hwy. 401 near Allen Rd.
Devante Williams, 24, is charged with two counts of procuring a person under 18 years, material benefit from sexual services provided by a person under 18 years, sexual assault, sexual interference and two counts of making or publishing child pornography.
He was held for a bail hearing in Brampton court Thursday.
Police are concerned there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact investigators at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3515 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
