Police are asking the public to name a pair of suspects who are allegedly targeting seniors and stealing their wallets at grocery stores in Erin Mills and Meadowvale.
“We’re looking to identify them to prevent further victims,” said Peel Police Const. Mark Fischer.

The latest victim, 73, and his wife were shopping at Longo’s at Glen Erin Dr. and Thomas St. on May 29 at 12:45 p.m.
The suspects removed the victim’s wallet while he was placing groceries on his bike, say police.
Video surveillance shows the suspects following the elderly couple inside the store and noting their PIN codes as they cashed out.
Police believe the suspects are connected to a similar incident on March 17, roughly 1.4 kms north.
That’s when an 82-year-old woman’s wallet was stolen at the Fresh Co. at Britannia Rd. and Glen Erin.
The victim reported receiving her wallet after the fact, however, debit cards and cash were missing and money was withdrawn from her bank account.
Fischer is reminding residents to always guard their PINs.
The first suspect is female, white, 25, with a medium build. She was sporting a dark cap with a white stripe, white shirt, and carrying a purse.
The second suspect is male white, 25 to 30 with a medium build. He has a short beard, short dark brown hair and was wearing a black Yankees cap and a black and white checked button down shirt.
Investigators are asking residents to come forward if they’ve been targeted.
Anyone with information can phone the criminal investigation bureau at (905) 453-2121 ext. 1133 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
