A woman was pushed to the ground as two men made off with her prescription medication following a robbery in the Long Branch area.
Toronto Police say the incident unfolded at 11 a.m. Tuesday near Forty-First St. and Lake Shore Blvd W., just east of Marie Curtis Park.
The victim, 63, was approached from behind by two men.
They made off with 600 tablets of Oxycodone CR 80 mg; 420 tablets of Oxycocet; 120 tablets of Diazepam 10 mg.
The robbery comes after a purse with painkillers was stolen in the same area last week. These drugs can cause addiction, overdose or death, especially if taken by children, warn police.
Anyone finding the medication is asked not to handle it, and phone police at 416-808-2200 or Crime Stoppers 416-222-8477.
