A 28-year-old Mississauga man is facing 20 charges following a series of break-ins across Toronto last summer – and one in the Erindale area on Oct. 2.
The suspect was arrested in Peterborough at 2 a.m. Wednesday, said Toronto Police.
Investigators allege the man broke into homes overnight in the Leaside, Rosedale and Yorkville areas, gaining entry through unlocked doors and windows.
The suspect made off with cash, jewelry, and electronics.
The same man is suspected in a break and enter and sex assault in the Credit Woodlands and McBride Ave. area last weekend, said Peel Regional Police Const. Harinder Sohi.
Matthew Ward is charged with 19 counts of break and enter and one count of sexual assault. He appeared in Brampton court Oct. 5.
