Witnesses are being asked to come forward in two Peel Police cases — the most recent involving a pedestrian-versus-vehicle crash in central Mississauga.
The incident took place Oct. 7 on Redmond Rd. and Central Pkwy.
A white 2016 Jeep Cherokee was travelling southbound on Redmond when a male victim was attempting to cross from the north side to the south side of Central Pkwy.

The driver of the Jeep tried making a right turn to west on Central Pkwy, when the vehicle struck the victim.
The driver remained on scene and was cooperative, say police.
Further north, the second file involves an impaired driver in a “violent crash” in Brampton on Sept. 19.
Police say a 2010 Dodge Charger and a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe were in a collision at the Gore Rd. and Ebenezer Rd. at 7:52 p.m.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the crash, shot video footage, or have information about the actions of the drivers or pedestrians prior to the crash.
Tips can be directed to the major collision bureau at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3710 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
