Two suspects are on the run after robbing a bank in Applewood Village Plaza Saturday.
Peel police responded to a call at 12:30 p.m. at the Scotiabank at 1077 North Service Rd., near Stanfield Rd., just north of the QEW.
A gun was seen, however, no injuries were reported.
Two suspects left with cash, fleeing on foot heading westbound.
“We don’t know if there was a vehicle involved,” after the suspects left the scene, said Const. Rachel Gibbs.
The men are described as black, tall, in their 20s with their faces covered.
One suspect was wearing a grey hoodie and black jacket, while the second man was in a white shirt, grey jeans, and black hat.
