Free public transit rides are being offered on New Year’s Eve in Mississauga.
“Safety on Mississauga’s roads on this festive evening is our priority and these free rides will support safer roads in our city,” said MiWay’s acting transit director Patrick Phaneuf.
Riders can hop on a MiWay bus between 7 p.m. Dec. 31 to 4 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Service hours are being extended on routes departing from local malls, GO stations and the Islington subway station.
