Toronto police are searching for a silver Mercedes SUV in connection with a crash on the eastbound Gardiner which sent a man to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The incident took place Jan. 3 at 12:10 a.m., east of Hwy. 427.
An Acura EL was struck from behind by a Lincoln Town Car, driven by a 76-year-old man.
Police say a 24-year-old Acura passenger was rushed to hospital, where he remains.
Investigators have “new information” about a vehicle which allegedly fled the scene and are asking the public to help locate it.
Police say they’re looking for a silver 2007-2009 Mercedes Benz GL series with front-end damage.
