A suspect is on the run after robbing a south Mississauga bank.
Peel police were sent to the Park Royal TD branch, at Truscott Dr. and Bodmin Rd., at 7:33 p.m. Thursday.
The suspect, who was working alone, walked in and handed a note to a teller saying he was armed.
No weapon was seen, said Const. Bancroft Wright, adding no injuries were reported.
The man escaped; a search by a police dog came up empty.
The suspect is described as white, 25, with a slim build.
He was wearing a black toque, black hoodie, and jeans.
This marks the second robbery in one week at the plaza.
Anyone with information is asked to phone the central robbery unit at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3410 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.
