
A first-degree murder charge has been laid against a Mississauga woman in connection with the death of her son.
Peel Police responded to a call Monday afternoon on Sherobee Dr., near Hurontario and the QEW and found a two-year-old boy dead in an apartment.
The child, Surfeal Okubagzi, had obvious signs of physical trauma, said police.
Russom Tesfamar Yordanos, 27, was arrested at the scene. She made her first court appearance in Brampton Tuesday.
