
A 24-year-old Mississauga man is facing several weapons-related charges in connection with an incident involving a fake gun in the River Grove area.
A suspect, police allege, pointed and threatened the driver of another vehicle using a replica firearm at 10:30 p.m. Friday near Bristol Rd. W. and Creditview Rd.
“The replica firearm is made to look like a real firearm,” said Peel Regional Police Const. Rachel Gibbs.
The victim phoned 911 and no injuries were reported from the pellet gun.
The suspect turned himself in at 11 Division at 5:20 a.m. Saturday.
David Ha is scheduled to appear in Brampton court on Feb. 26.
