A Mississauga man is facing a slew of human trafficking charges after allegedly meeting a woman at a south Mississauga strip club then forcing her to have sex with men in Hamilton.
It began May 12 at Pure Gold strip club on Royal Windsor Dr., where Toronto Police believe the suspect met a 19-year-old woman and gave her his car keys, asking to be picked up the next morning.
The victim obliged, driving his vehicle to Hamilton so he could meet friends.
Police allege the man booked a hotel room, took photos of the woman “in certain degrees of undress,” placed advertisements for sexual services on backpages.com, then made her have sex with clients over the next two days and hand over the money.
The woman escaped on May 15, returning to Toronto.
Police say the man phoned and texted the woman demanding to know her whereabouts, locating her May 19.
The suspect demanded the woman pay $5,000 as a “buyout” fee for leaving him, then drove her to a bank, where the woman managed to contact police.
